Need more protection? You can extend coverage based on your declared value, up to R20,000 per shipment.

What’s Not Covered

While we strive to handle every parcel with care, there are a few situations where our liability coverage doesn’t apply:

• Goods already damaged before pickup.
• Damage caused by improper packaging not done by Delicate Courier.
• Delays or loss caused by uncontrollable events (e.g., strikes, floods, or road closures).
• Shipments reported damaged more than 90 minutes after delivery.
• High-value items above R20,000 that were not declared at booking.
   

We’ve made the process quick and straightforward:

1. Report immediately.
   Notify us of any issues on delivery or within 90 minutes after delivery.
    
2. Submit supporting documents.
   Send your claim with proof of value (invoice), photos, and waybill number to:

3. Acknowledgement & Review.
   We’ll acknowledge your claim right away and begin assessment.
    
4. Resolution.
   Straightforward claims are typically resolved within 14 business days.

Currently, our liability coverage applies to shipments transported within Gauteng only.
